Please note: Start date is typically 2 to 3 weeks after registration and be confirmed by a member of the Y team. In addition, after registering, families will receive a link to their child’s online profile where they will need to provide additional information including emergency contacts and medical information. This must be completed before children can start attending the program.
There’s plenty for kids and parents to love about the Y’s School’s Out Program. Kid’s get to experiment with their new knowledge, move their bodies, and be surrounded by positive adult role models. Kids who attend School’s Out have the opportunity to explore nature, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too!

Who: Children in grades K-7 who attend Warren and Mindess Elementary Schools and Ashland Middle School.
When: Program starts at school release to 6:00 p.m.2 day, 3, day, 4 day, and 5 day schedule options that include early release days.Optional vacation programming also available.
Transportation for Warren and Mindess Schools students to Ashland Middle School provided by Ashland Public Schools.

Families will be charged a $30 non-refundable 2024-2025 school year registration fee for each child enrolled in School’s Out. In addition, children who have not attended our Early Learning Center or School's Out in the past will also be charged a one-time $30 enrollment fee for each child.
We recognize families have different abilities to pay. If you feel you need help affording the after school program, the MetroWest YMCA can help. Partial financial assistance through our Y-Assist program will be awarded to those who can demostrate their inability to pay the full fee. Funds for the Y-Assist program are raised as part of the YMCA's Annual Campaign. You can download the application online.
